Warbler Phone Cozy

Hey guys,

I've decided to update with some fun news! I made a phone cozy based off of the Warblers/Dalton Blazers from Glee, crest and all. These are only being made by request because they take a while to make and depending on how many requests I get, I will have to make sure I am properly stocked up on the necessary materials. They are being made as they are being requested and will be posted as reserved listings on Etsy for those people. If I can find a faster way to make them, I will post them unreserved for anybody interested.

The pattern was hand drawn and cut by me after using pictures from the show as reference. No tracing was involved. The hardest part is the crest, which in the one shown, actually used no pattern and I simply cut pieces that matched up well enough, but have now created a pattern for. All of the sewing is done by hand as well since I do not trust my sewing machine after it has ruined previous sewing projects. I'll post a few teaser pictures below.

I will also be posting some new key chains soon and plan to make a Dalton crest pin and/or a key chain to be added to the shop. If you're interested, again, the link to request one is here.

If you're looking for Felt Pretty Today's blog, you've come to the right place! Felt Pretty Today is an Etsy shop full of handmade goods using felt. There are keychains, decorations, bags, pins, and more to come. I will be posting updates on here about sales, new items and other such updates. Since things are still fairly new here, I'll let you know a little about me, the shop, and contact options.

My name is Devin and I am a 20 year old college student studying Graphic Design with a Business Minor. I live at home for now and spend my free time doing crafts for this shop or my other one, Three Eye Graphics. I have two part-time jobs, which are an office-clerk/sometimes-salesperson in a children's furniture store and a freelance web/graphic designer. I have two cats that I adore and plan to get a dog when I move out, but enough about me.

I started this store because I found the wonderful world of felt patterns on Etsy. I couldn't spend a ton of money on patterns, so I instead I decided to buy felt and make my own patterns or find free ones online. I sketch out most of my patterns in a notebook before measuring and cutting them out of Vellum tracing paper. Most patterns have been designed by me and all have been hand drawn by me. Some of mine may appear similar to those found online, but I do not trace or print them out. If a pattern from online is used, I will credit it in the product decription on Etsy, I am also definitely open to requests. I can make things in different colors, use a faster shipping method, or make something completely new for you, if I am able.
